Each temperament will be represented by an installation or set and a video. when the whole series is completed a video consisting of all segments will be presented as the final piece. The installation functions as a sculpture incorporating differnet media including painting but it's primary function is a film set for the video. the sculpure and video is a manifestation of the temperament here represented by the element of fire. We see the world turned upside down in what appears to be an endless rotation of a burned out and charred city and the after effects of fire. the hyennas scavenging in a rigorous matriarchal hiearchy represent this temperament in it's unbridled energy as the custodians of this nightmarish world. the three and half minute video is a series of 570 still photographs stiched together to produce the illusion of a moving image.
